Golden Bar Challenge – Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern the “Golden Bar Challenge” activation (“Challenge”) taking place at Global Village (“Park”). Participation in the Activity implies acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

Challenge Duration

The Challenge consists of removing the Golden Bar out of the box displayed at the Falcon Stage, Restaurant Plaza for 29 seconds and will run daily from 29th April to 11th May 2025 (“Term”).

Participation Details

•.Participation is open to all guests visiting Global Village during the Term.

• Only guests aged 18 and above are eligible to participate in the Challenge.

• Guests must download the Global Village mobile application and either register or complete their profile information to be eligible for participation.

• Participants must complete the Challenge as instructed by on-ground staff.

Challenge Rules

• The Challenge will run daily from 8:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Restaurant Plaza.

• To be eligible to win the prize, the participant must remove the Golden Bar with one hand only and hand it to the game host within 29 seconds.

• A maximum of three winners will be selected per day, or the Challenge will end after two hours—whichever comes first.

• Each participant is allowed to make one attempt per term.

[EF1] • Using both hands during the Challenge is strictly prohibited. Any participant found using two hands will be immediately disqualified.

• The decision of the on-ground staff is final in determining successful completion of the Challenge and winner selection.

Prizes

• A cash prize of AED 2,900 will be awarded to each winner.

• All prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be substituted or redeemed for cash.

• Global Village and its partners accept no responsibility for any lost or damaged prizes once distributed.

•The participant acknowledges that Global Village may take pictures and record videos of winners while redeeming their prizes for any promotional purposes, including but not limited to, social media, TV, websites, mobile application. By accepting the prize, the participant irrevocably consents to and authorises Global Village to such photography or video recording and to use worldwide, for any purpose whatsoever, all such photographs and videos recordings are to be the sole property of Global Village.

Eligibility and Disqualification

• A participant may win only once during the Term.

• Global Village reserves the right to disqualify any participant found violating the rules or demonstrating unsafe or inappropriate behavior.

• Global Village employees, vendors, and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.

Health and Safety

•By taking part in the Challenge, the participant acknowledges and confirms that it is in good health, and unconditionally assumes the risk of participating in the Challenge and agrees to accept all responsibility for any or all damage, loss, disability, injury, illness or death, arising the Challenge, no matter what the circumstances of the accident and/or injury. Global Village assumes no responsibility, liabilities, claims, costs and/or causes of action arising from or which may occur to the participants as a result of the Challenge

•Participants are strongly advised not to participate in the Challenge if they suffer or been prescribed medical conditions, including but not limited to:

• heart and cardiovascular problems, including high blood pressure
• back or neck problems.
• photosensitive epilepsy.
•  nervous disorders.
• motion sickness.

• Pregnant guests are strongly advised not to participate in the Challenge.

• Guests who are under the influence of alcohol or drugs are strictly prohibited to participate in the Challenge.

• All participants must follow safety instructions provided by the on-ground staff at all times.

General Terms

• The Golden Bar Challenge is a limited-time activation during the final weeks of Global Village Season 29.

• Global Village reserves the right to amend, postpone, or cancel the Challenge at any time without prior notice.

• All Global Village Park rules and general terms and conditions apply at all times
