Entry Tickets Online Purchase Policy

The following policies apply to your purchase of tickets through www.globalvillage.ae and are subject to our Terms of Use, which are incorporated by this reference. Our goal is to make your purchasing experience as simple and convenient as possible, so that we can get you on your way to Global Village as smoothly as possible. The following policies are designed to ensure your satisfaction and understanding of the purchase process. Each ticket that you purchase is a license to enter Global Village, and is subject to the additional terms or restrictions set forth on that ticket or Global Village site Terms & Conditions.

Currency

All ticket prices are stated in United Arab Emirates Dirhams. All purchases are made in United Arab Emirates Dirhams. Your bank might charge you for a currency conversion if you are buying from country other than United Arab Emirates.

Payment Method

Tickets can be purchased online using valid Visa or MasterCard credit cards only. Your bank might charge you an additional amount if you are using an international credit card.

Order Confirmation

Once you have submitted payment information online and your ticket purchase is successful, you will receive an email confirmation to the email address inbox you inserted in your online purchasing form. The email will have the e-ticket/s with its/their barcodes attached to it and will state a unique purchase transaction number which you might use for referencing to your purchase order whenever needed. If you do not find your Order Confirmation with your e-tickets in your inbox please check your Spam/Junk folder. To avoid our emails being seen as junk, please add our “From” address to your Address Book.

The information contained on your Order Confirmation and e-tickets is important and you should keep it safely. Your e-tickets contain a unique Barcode which will be scanned at Global Village entry gate to give you access to the park.

If you do not receive an Order Confirmation with e-tickets (in the form of an Order Confirmation page or email) after submitting payment information (but especially if you experience an error message or service interruption after submitting payment information), it is your responsibility to confirm with Global Village by calling +971 4 362 4114 to confirm that your order has been placed. If it has, we will ensure you get your Order Confirmation with your e-tickets. If we confirm that the order was not placed, you may safely reorder online.

www.globalvillage.ae is not responsible for any loss you may incur if you fail to confirm with us before the event and in due time to remedy the situation.

Usage of E-Tickets

You may choose to print a clear version of the e-ticket/s and bring it/them along with you to the entry gate of Global Village to scan it/them, or you may avail it at the display screen on your electronic device to be scanned through Global Village’s entry gate scanners and permit you to access the park. Please note that Global Village’s entry gate scanners can only accept electronic devices that are of a maximum width of 8cm and maximum height of 15cm.

Refunds and Exchanges

Before you actually purchase your tickets, www.globalvillage.ae will give you the opportunity to review
the number of tickets you have selected to buy and the corresponding price in United Arab Dirhams.

Once you make your final selection and purchase your tickets, www.globalvillage.ae will not allow exchanges or refunds for any reason. By making your purchase, you agree to this condition. Please carefully review your order before you make the payment.

Once you have your tickets, keep them safe. The above condition of sale means that lost, stolen, damaged or destroyed tickets, or tickets claimed to be not delivered/not received, cannot be replaced or refunded and you may not gain admittance to the park.

By purchasing the ticket, you agree that you will not attempt to evade, avoid or circumvent the above condition of sale in any way. You also agree that you will not contact www.globalvillage.ae to seek a refund, return or exchange. Nor will you dispute or otherwise seek a “chargeback” from the credit card company used to make the purchase. Should you do so, your tickets may be cancelled and www.globalvillage.ae may, in its sole discretion, take any measures necessary to ensure that any pending ticket sales are cancelled and that you are prevented from buying tickets in the future.

Cancelled and Postponed Events

In case of a force majeure, Global Village might postpone, extended, or cancel its operations at any date. Special conditions will apply in such case. These conditions are set by Global Village management and vary from an event to another. All purchased e-tickets will be valid to use at any day of Global Village’s 20th season from the 3rd of November 2015 until the 9th of April 2016. In case of park’s closure at any given date due to a force majeure, you will still be able to use your e-tickets to enter Global Village at any other day of operations if e-ticket’s barcodes have not been already scanned at Global Village entry gates. To get any refund or exchange due you must adhere to the procedures and conditions.

Please note that refunds, when made by www.globalvillage.ae, are made only to the credit card that was used in the online ticket purchase for the value paid for the ticket.

www.globalvillage.ae will not be liable for travel or any other expenses that you or anyone else incurs in connection with a cancelled or postponed operations.

Pricing and Other Errors

If the amount you paid for a ticket is incorrect for any reason, regardless of that reason, www.globalvillage.ae will reimburse the difference if the amount is overpaid; require you to pay the difference if you underpaid, or cancel the ticket. If the ticket is cancelled, a refund of the amount you paid will be made to you.

Multiple Browser Windows

Please ensure that you use only one browser window to look for tickets and place an order online on www.globalvillage.ae. Using multiple browser windows can cause your session to time out and other errors that could mean that you lose your tickets.

Unlawful Re-Sale of Tickets; Commercial Purpose

Unlawful resale (or attempted resale), counterfeit or copy of tickets is grounds for seizure and cancellation without compensation. Tickets may not be used for advertising, promotions, contests or sweepstakes, unless formal written authorization is given by Global Village, provided that even if such consent is obtained, any use of Global Village trademarks and other intellectual property is subject to Global Village consent.

Global Village Park Terms & Conditions

Global Village park has its own terms and conditions that apply on holders of online purchased e-tickets. Please visit http://globalvillage.ae/about/park-rules-regulations/ to know more about the park’s terms and conditions.

Other Key Terms & Conditions and Highlights:

  • Minors below the age of 18 years are not allowed to purchase Global Village’s general admission online tickets. Global Village doesn’t hold any liability towards the minors or their sponsors in case of a minor breaking this term.
  • All credit/debit cards details and personally identifiable information will NOT be stored, sold, shared, rented or leased to any third parties.
  • The Website Policies and Terms & Conditions may be changed or updated occasionally to meet the requirements and standards. Therefore the Customers’ are encouraged to frequently visit these sections in order to be updated about the changes on the website. Modifications will be effective on the day they are posted.
  • The Pricing of the Tickets may vary from Event to Event. The customer has to visit the website when required for latest pricing.
  • We accept payments online using Visa and MasterCard credit/debit card in AED.
  • www.globalvillage.ae will not deal or provide any services or products to any of OFAC (Office of Foreign Assets Control) sanctions countries in accordance with the law of UAE.
  • Refunds will be done only through the Original Mode of Payment.
  • Multiple purchases may result in multiple postings to the cardholder’s monthly statement.
